Cough and cold:
Indications for: CHILDREN’S SUDAFED LIQUID
Nasal congestion.
Children Dosage:
<4yrs: do not use. 4–5yrs: 5mL. 6–11yrs: 10mL. Repeat every 4–6 hours as needed; max 4 doses/24hours.
CHILDREN’S SUDAFED LIQUID Contraindications:
During or within 14 days of MAOIs.
CHILDREN’S SUDAFED LIQUID Warnings/Precautions:
Hypertension. Cardiovascular disease. Diabetes. Thyroid disease. GI or GU obstruction.
CHILDREN’S SUDAFED LIQUID Classification:
Sympathomimetic.
CHILDREN’S SUDAFED LIQUID Interactions:
Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. β-blockers increase pressor effects of sympathomimetics. Antihypertensives antagonized.
Adverse Reactions:
Nervousness, dizziness, insomnia.
