Cough and cold:
Indications for: NYQUIL COUGH
Cough, rhinorrhea, sneezing.
Adult Dosage:
30mL every 6 hours; max 4 doses/24 hours.
Children Dosage:
Not recommended.
NYQUIL COUGH Contraindications:
During or within 14 days of MAOIs.
NYQUIL COUGH Warnings/Precautions:
Glaucoma. GI or GU obstruction. Asthma. Lower respiratory disorders. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.
NYQUIL COUGH Classification:
Antihistamine + antitussive.
NYQUIL COUGH Interactions:
See Contraindications. Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. Increased CNS effects with other CNS depressants.
Adverse Reactions:
Drowsiness, anticholinergic effects, excitability in children.
