Cough and cold:
Indications for: SUDAFED NON-DRYING SINUS
Nasal congestion and cough.
Adult Dosage:
2 caps every 4 hours as needed; max 8 caps/24hrs.
Children Dosage:
Individualize.
SUDAFED NON-DRYING SINUS Contraindications:
Within 14 days of MAOIs.
SUDAFED NON-DRYING SINUS Warnings/Precautions:
Cardiovascular disease. Hypertension. Thyroid disease. Diabetes. GI or GU obstruction. Asthma. Lower respiratory disorders.
SUDAFED NON-DRYING SINUS Classification:
Expectorant + sympathomimetic.
SUDAFED NON-DRYING SINUS Interactions:
Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. β-blockers increase pressor effects of sympathomimetics. Antihypertensives antagonized.
Adverse Reactions:
Nervousness, dizziness, insomnia.
