Hyperacidity, GERD, and ulcers:

Indications for: TAGAMET HB

Prevention and relief from heartburn, acid indigestion, and sour stomach.

Adult Dosage:

Prevention: 200mg within ½ hour before eating/drinking. Relief: 200mg once daily as needed. Max 400mg/day.

Children Dosage:

Not recommended.

TAGAMET HB Warnings/Precautions:

Heartburn > 3 months. Chest or shoulder pain with shortness of breath. Sweating. Pain spreading to arms, neck, or shoulders, or lightheadedness. Reevaluate if symptoms persist or worsen after >14 days. Renal or hepatic impairment. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.
